This guide won’t just suggest tourist attractions you probably already know about, but will offer things to do in and around West London that aren’t your traditional attractions.

Getting Around Victoria

Victoria has a lot to offer – but where to start? How to get about?

London Public Transport

We recommend using public transport as much as possible when staying in London. London is renowned for having some of the best transport links in the world, which are all well signposted and equipped with helpful staff to assist you along your journey.

At The Warwick Hotel in Victoria, you are equidistant between Victoria and Pimlico tube stations, both of which are less than a 10-minute walk from the property. They have great links to Central London and Heathrow Airport via District Line and Victoria Line tube services.

Alternatively, hop on the 24 bus, which will take you through Westminster, Trafalgar Square, Soho, and up to Camden. The Citymapper app is a great tool to help you plan any journeys you are taking. Download the app here.

Getting Around London by Foot

Victoria is great to walk around. There is an abundance of cafes, restaurants, and hidden gems you can find just by walking the streets (though depending on the time of year, don’t forget to pack an umbrella!).

Using Taxis in London

Uber is available in London and is relatively inexpensive compared to the famous London black taxis. Other taxi apps are available alongside local taxi services that you can call to book. Prices vary depending on the time of day and where you are traveling to.

Also note that with Uber, you can schedule rides for a specific time through the app, which may be useful for your check-out or traveling to attractions at certain times. If you need an airport transfer (or train station transfer), use our online booking service for very competitive prices.

Should I Drive in London?
